PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
Gettysburg College received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to develop a model and curriculum for student leadership development. The resulting Leadership Development Course for College Students has a number of training modules that use the Electric Maze.
The course helps students understand various aspects of leadership such as team dynamics, collaboration, communication, problem solving, and dealing with change. The experiential learning activities with the Maze require participants to be actively involved in the learning process. This improves understanding and retention and creates enthusiasm for learning new concepts. The course, conducted by a number of other colleges, encourages students to become continuous learners who are able to respond to change and add new skills throughout their lives.
